Mentorship

for the personal touch

Our special touch -- Mentorship

The Eretz Mentorship program aims to quickly acclimatize a student to the Yeshiva environment, to work on specific skills and to create strong personal relationships with additional members of faculty. The program is modelled after mentorship programs at Universities and businesses, where specific skill-sets, life skills, attitudes and behaviors, decision making skills and strategies are targeted and addressed in a thorough and intentional way.

The program begins with “Yeshiva onboarding,” moves to “Yeshiva-Life Skills” and then to “spiritual mentoring,” which includes “big Jewish questions”, ethical advice and “life-after Yeshiva.” Using hand-selected sources, the mentor and their mentees are involved in a guided conversation aimed to address specific topics that relate to each student’s Yeshiva journey and development.

Mentorship allows us to capitalize and maximize our one-on-one learning sessions with our students, to make sure that a substantial list of topics is covered, and to have a member of the faculty oversee the development of each student.
